Deceit "The Garden of Roses: Stories of Abuse and Healing” sugarcoats Abuse Tracker, it's written by a priest (or team) and Virginia Jones is a facade
“The Garden of Roses: Stories of Abuse and Healing” by Virginia Jones, appears weekly in Abuse Tracker, usually on a Sunday, like March 7, 2010. Virginia Jones claims to be a "Catholic convert" whose conversion was inspired by none other than Pope John Paul II (see second article below). She also claims to be "a survivor of sexual abuse" (see first article below). But somehow her personal stories don't add up. They sound more like Benedict XVI condemns abuse of children by priests 3 DECADES LATE…Cardinal Ratzinger Pope B16 is a pathological liar http://pope-ratz.blogspot.com/2010/02/benedict-xvi-condemns-abuse-of-children.html
First of all, the biblical knowledge which Virginia Jones possesses and writes about every week reflects more that of a priest's Sunday sermons. Virginia Jones "holy" style is also similar to that of Zenit.org see Legion of Christ whose founder, Fr. Marcial Maciel is member of John Paul II Pedophile Priests Army http://jp2m.blogspot.com/2010/03/zenitorg-should-shut-down-its-operated.html
Virginia Jones claims to be a "survivor of sexual abuse" but it sounds like a whopper. No survivor of the John Paul II Pedophile Priests Army is a Biblical scholar or writer to this date. (If anyone is, please email me!)
The fact is, there are NO survivors of pedophile priests who would be scholars or writers of the Bible...as Virginia Jones is. Victims of pedophile priests find going to Church and things associated with priests very repugnant. Some do go back to church, but they wouldn't be so well versed on the Bible like Virginia Jones – not with such clarity of Biblical knowledge – with added holy lessons (where did those lessons come from, the sodomy rites of pedophile priests in rectories??) One needs courses in spirituality and theology to be able to write like this regularly, and no victim has pursued these church courses. They are activists like David Clohessy and Barbara Blaine of SNAP. They have been too busy "living hell" as consequence of their pedophile experiences in Catholic churches and pursuing some form of justice through lawyers and SNAP and Bishops Accountability.
Victims of pedophile priests are NOT Biblical scholars; instead, they are the victims of Biblical scholars like our own Boston’s criminal-Cardinal Bernard Law, prominent officer of the John Paul II Pedophile Priests Army http://jp2m.blogspot.com/2010/02/cardinal-bernard-law-must-resign.html

Sweet sexual abuse experiences?
From her Biblical vocabulary, Virginia Jones sounds more like a priest, who then borrows the experiences of victims of sexual abuse and incorporates them into the Gospel…but very sweetly. Those abuse experiences (she claims she had) do NOT sound PAINFUL at all; they sound more like the "fashion's worst blunders" of John Allen Jr. of "All Things Catholic" in NCR. Virginia Jones sexual abuse experiences do not sound like this one with gut wrenching experiences see Biggest Vatican stories of the decade: John Paul II Pedophile Priests Army committed Holy ES Eucharist-and-Sodomy of Biblical proportions http://jp2m.blogspot.com/2010/01/biggest-vatican-stories-of-decade-john.html
From her literary style, Virginia Jones can make it appear as if a victim of priestly sodomy can “feel so good and so holy sweet” that he or she want to keep going back to church. But that kind of “feeling good and holy sweet” is not what true victims have written about or spoken about see books in the John Paul II Millstone http://jp2m.blogspot.com/ Virginia Jones’ premise is tantamount to a child whose hand has been burnt over the stove and he keeps going back to get it burned because it “feels so good... and biblical”.
From the consistent pattern of its Biblical knowledge and style of “holiness”, this website "The Garden of Roses: Stories of Abuse and Healing" is written by a team of priests and professional writers, not by one person, especially not by a victim of priest pedophilia, and they use "Virginia Jones" as a facade.
Analysis of latest post
Look at Virginia Jones' latest entry this March 7, 2010 (Abuse Tracker 5:56 PM) on "The Sinful Woman: The Untold Story" (see first artcile below)
--- The first three paragraphs sounds totally like a priest’s Sunday homily.
--- And then AFTER the entire story of the Gospel (clearly written), Virginia Jones SPRINKLES a few words about being "a survivor of sexual abuse" - to make it appear authentic, but it is not. Who are you trying to fool, Virginia Jones?
It is evident that the style of “The Garden of Roses: Stories of Abuse and Healing” is to cite a full Biblical story to make it appear as if it has TOTALLY HEALed victims of sexual abuse. This is the Opus Dei TRAP to put a sentimental treatment that sugercoats the harsh reality of the crude reportage of SNAP, Bishops Accountability, Abuse Tracker and all painful stories of victims of the John Paul II Pedophile Priests Army.
Daily holy meditation books
The religious contents of “The Garden of Roses: Stories of Abuse and Healing” are very similar to Opus Dei daily holy meditation books -- from beginning, middle and end. Classic Opus Dei Biblical stories – with "holy lessons".
Virginia Jones is more of a "mask" for Opus Dei who has the interest to get rid of abuse stories in Abuse Tracker so that they can canonize John Paul II and partner him with St. Josemaria Escriva their founder see the John Paul II Millstone http://jp2m.blogspot.com/2010/01/biggest-vatican-stories-of-decade-john.html.
The purpose of The Garden of Roses: Stories of Abuse and Healing is to be a media spin and to sweeten Abuse Tracker, so that, when all is said and done, SNAP, Abuse Tracker and Bishops Accountability will all disappear like Dust in the Wind and the Bible and priests will reign supreme. The priests and the Pope will have prevailed and escape their roles in the cover-up of the worst crimes against Catholic children in the 20th century, the John Paul II Pedophile Priests Army http://jp2army.blogspot.com/
It has already happened to criminal-Cardinal Bernard Law of Boston who's now sitting pretty as the Archpriest of the St. Mary Major Basilica in Rome. And he goes for his regular meals with his pal Benedict XVI at the Vatican! All the crimes he committed in Boston especially the transfer of pedophile priests from one parish to another have disappeared in smoke in the memories of Catholics in Boston, the USA and the world. Likewise, “The Garden of Roses: Stories of Abuse and Healing” will also make Abuse Tracker, SNAP and Bishop Accountability disappear like smoke.
Virginia Jones and David Quinn, Opus Dei foot-soldiers
Last February, on the eve of the Irish Bishop’s trip to Rome, we dared point out the “baloney” of David Quinn’s defence of Benedict XVI. In his next article, he changes his tune a little bit. See “What planet are you from, David Quinn: Time to commend Pope for response to abuse is baloney -- Benedict XVI condoned & covered-up priests pedophiles http://pope-ratz.blogspot.com/2010/02/what-planet-are-you-from-david-quinn.html
And now we dare also point out the truth of the mask behind Virginia Jones and her Opus Dei website, “The Garden of Roses: Stories of Abuse and Healing”.
We have exposed Virginia Jones in two of our posts:
This American website supports Benedict XVI & Bishops, John Paul II… its mission is to sugar-coat Abuse Tracker and Bishops Accountability http://pope-ratz.blogspot.com/2010/03/this-american-website-supports-benedict.html

The Sinful Woman: The Untold Story
UNITED STATES
The Garden of Roses: Stories of Abuse and Healing
Virginia Jones
A woman enters the house of Simon, the Pharisee, and washes Jesus’ feet with her tears and dries them with her hair while he dines. Her story is told in the Gospels of Luke (7:36-50).
Simon remarks to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know who and what sort of woman is touching him, that she is a sinner.”
Jesus hears Simon and rebukes him with a parable about two debtors owing money to the creditor. The creditor forgives both debts. Jesus asks Simon which debtor is more grateful. Simon correctly understands that the debtor owing more money is more grateful. The parable is normally understood to illustrate the power of God’s forgiveness of sin. As a survivor of sexual abuse, I think there is an untold story in this Bible passage--the story of Jesus’ feeling special compassion for the losses and pain endured by abuse survivors.
Many people assume that the sinful woman is a prostitute. Her sin of sex outside marriage makes her unclean and unfit to touch a man, especially a priestly man. Scientific studies show a strong correlation between childhood sexual abuse and prostitution. One study found that adults who are sexually abused as children are almost 28 times as likely to be arrested for prostitution as adults who were not abused. (1) Another qualitative study of female prostitutes found that 63% of participants reported being sexually molested as children. (2)
When adults sexualize their relationships with children, the children often grow up learning that their greatest value to others is through sex. Sometimes the survivors already feels so degraded that progressing to deliberately prostituting themselves comes easily. If such a strong correlation between abuse and prostitution exists today, in a time of less stringent social condemnations of moral flaws, a case could be made that in the time of Jesus, a prostitute was even more likely to be an abuse survivor. Sexual morals were much more rigid in ancient Judea.

The Garden of Roses: Stories of Abuse and Healing

Excerpt: I have much more positive things to say about Pope John Paul II, who was pope when I converted to Catholicism. He did some really good things. I think apologizing for the Church's sins such as the Inquisition and the Crusades was wonderful. On clergy abuse he made some not very smart moves such as protecting the head of a religious order -- Fr. Maciel-- who had many accusations of child sex abuse against him. I need to note that Pope Benedict removed Fr. Maciel shortly after becoming Pope because of these accusations.
Our comment: This Catholic of the Garden of Roses is seducing Catholics by posing as a ‘Catholic convert’ and is speaking with Opus Dei Latin ecstasy drug
. John Paul II apologized for the Inquisition and the Crusades “was wonderful”…ugh? How “wonderful” and trivial to hear it (like the “fun” by John Allen Jr as eh categorize “sexual abuse crisis” like some “worst fashion blunders” . As if John Paul II’s apology is enough to “forget” the crimes of the Catholic Church during the Inquisition and the Crusades and leave them as Dust-in-the-Wind in the Vatican Archives? Garden of Roses is evidently an all flowery deception by Opus Dei foot soldiers, which includes John Allen Jr, who have no moral conscience and no compunction for American victims of the John Paul II Pedophile Priests Army which we pointed out at the beginning of this article. Opus Dei web-foot-soldiers are experts with the play of words and they are first-class foxy deceivers and they will soon be thrashing (subtly) SNAP, Abuse Tracker, Bishops Accountability like “Dust in the Wind” . Let us not forget that the Opus Dei owns their own publishing companies and media empire in the USA and around the world .
This Garden of Roses media-spinner preaches that “John Paul II did some good things”, but the fact is, John Paul II was not a Good Samaritan because he was like the Levi priest who ignored the wounded man. JP2 ignored the 12,000 American victims harmed by his own priests because he was obsessed with his own glory http://jp2army.blogspot.com/

Names say a lot, like Virginia Jones sounds phony. Like Maria Victoria (Mary Victory) who shouts for the victory of Communism (this is elsewhere - just an example), for instance, sounds phony.
People are many times fooled by this. Mother Anjelica, oh sure she is the mother of the angels. Or a name that says they are trustworthy or whatever.
Our Lord Jesus Christ emphasized and insisted on works, not words or names or appearances. He said:
Matthew 5:16
So let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 16:27
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels: and then will he render to every man according to his works.
John 3:19
And this is the judgment: because the light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the light: for their works were evil.
You know, I believe you are right. I hadn't thought about "Virginia Jones" being a sock puppet, but I have been suspicious of the tone of the postings and their religiosity. I don't know if OD is behind them or some other group of uber-religious minions of RCC Inc., but certainly it's not coming from a *real* survivor of clergy abuse. Even those who remain in RCC Inc. as captives of Stockholm Syndrome don't sound like Virginia Jones (usually they are extremely defensive, not icky-sticky sweet). I hope Kathy Shaw and Frank Douglas read this and reconsider posting "Garden of Stink Roses" in the future. C'mon Kathy and Frank, you should know better than that! (Although Kathy does post articles from Zenit and the National Catholic register, both Opus Dei propaganda organs, so I think she's posting anything and everything on the topic without critical evaluation - and it is good to "know the enemy").
As a survivor, I completely concur that Virginia Jones writes like a fake. Has anyone noticed that defenders of Ben XVI (etc ad nauseum) must use some basic text provided by the Vatican PR firm? Read one, you've read them all.
But I am not sure that this writer should be 'deleted' from the sources we survivors read. That kind of behavior reflects an attempt at mind control, and thank you very much, I am anti-mind control.
Rather, one of us should investigate this lady. Perhaps, in my spare time, I will do so. In the interim, survivors recognize bullshittery immediately. We are well protected against hoaxology.
