UPDATES "Suffer through" in Walk in Oregon Trail in The Garden of Roses; more deceptions

March 16, 2010, Our comments: No victim of rape of any kind will enjoy a walk alone, or even with a female companion, in any trail, whether it is the Trail of Oregon or the Trail of the Bible. These dulce posts of Virginia Jones, “Why I walked the Oregon Trail” and the movie show she is an impostor to serve the Pope and sweeten Abuse Tracker. She is most probably paid by the Opus Dei or the trillion dollar Vatican Bank to do this website. The story of her rape is too saccharine, like a High School literary piece borrowing plots from other rape books.

She writes in her Walk Across Oregon: The Movie that “we all Walked Across Oregon to Stop Child Abuse and Heal the Wounds” and emphasizes, several times, that “My children had no choice but to suffer through” (repeated the word “suffer through”) just like John Paul II had to “suffer” when he whipped himself with a chord at the majestic Vatican Palace for the sins of the world see New book on John Paul II ‘Why He's a Saint’ is a pack of lies http://jp2m.blogspot.com/2010/01/new-book-on-john-paul-ii-why-hes-saint.html

What a nice walk at the Oregon Trail, Virginia Jones, while the whole world is embroiled with the wildfire of the John Paul II Pedophile Priests Army wildfire in Germany, Ireland, and Europe. The Trail of Oregon really keeps you out-of-touch with reality. Nice scenery compared to the holy rectories and confessionals in Catholic churches where altars boys were raped and sodomized for years by your favourite “Holy Fathers” priests!

You mean to say that your children “suffer” at the walk? Every Girl Scout “suffers” in any camp or walk in any trail. What suffering are you talking about? FUN, it was for your children, wasn’t it? A nice family outing.

You are a pathetic mouthpiece to sweeten Pope Benedict XVI’s sex abuse scandals. You mean that a FUN walk along the Oregon Trail will STOP sexual abuse? What planet are you living in, Virginia Jones?

There are thousands of hikers across America and the world. They all have to carry stuffs for their needs and survivals and bear the heat and walk through rough terrains. So what “suffer through” are you talking about?

For your information, No FUN WALKS in the Oregon Trail can UNDO or STOP Church sexual abuses. They are DONE; the Biblical sins of the John Paul II Pedophile Priests Army are done. YOU and YOUR CHILDREN can have your own FUN while the TRUE victims of the John Paul II Pedophile Priests Army continue to suffer “LIVING HELL” see their TRUE STORIES in Biggest Vatican stories of the decade: John Paul II Pedophile Priests Army committed Holy ES Eucharist-and-Sodomy of Biblical proportions http://jp2m.blogspot.com/2010/01/biggest-vatican-stories-of-decade-john.html

The Garden of Roses: Stories of Abuse and Healing

I loved the Walked Across Oregon in 2008. My children also loved the Walk Across Oregon and so did my friend Mary Lou. So we all Walked Across Oregon to Stop Child Abuse and Heal the Wounds again in 2009. This time Kay Ebeling, the City of Angels Lady joined me with a friend, her daughter and her daughter’s friend. along with staff and volunteers from Domestic Violence Services of Umatilla County and Clatsop County Women’s Resource Center. My children had no choice but to suffer through carrying an inflatable boat to the shores of Wallowa Lake and walking it through the shallows so that the water was deep enough to row the boat. They had to suffer through walking along the Columbia River by The Dalles and Hood River to find beaches to play on, they had to suffer through walking by at least 12 Columbia River Gorge waterfalls.

Why I Walk Across Oregon

OREGON

The Garden of Roses: Stories of Abuse and Healing

Virginia Jones

When I started this blog, I said I would tell the story of how I came to Walk Across Oregon. So many things have come up in the meantime, I haven’t gotten around to it. As usual, more things keep coming up. The news is depressing. The Pope’s brother was involved in physical abuse and maybe in the cover-up of abuse of children in a Catholic Choir he directed. Many people write very well about these issues, I will bow to them and not try to copy their words and ideas. I feel the pain and the weight of all this abuse. I have lived through my own abuse. Like Church and society and many survivors, I avoided dealing with it. Some of the abuse came in the form of a rape on a date. I was filled with so much shame and guilt and that I told no one. I still find it hard to talk about what happened the night of the rape as well as what followed. The problem is you can’t really heal without talking about it.

I remained largely silent about my past until the priest who baptized me and my children Catholic in 2001, was removed from ministry for sexual abuse of boys in 2002. Like other Catholics, I was in denial. I didn’t want to believe the abuse he perpetrated was as bad as it was or that church leaders I believed in had covered up the abuse. Those same leaders tried to move my parish forward without closure, without answering questions. They brought in a new, dynamic, Mexican born priest who attracted many new, Hispanic parishioners in the place of the whites who had left after the abusive priest was removed. Maybe the new priest was a little too dynamic.

Eating Our Way Across Portland

PORTLAND (OR)

The Garden of Roses: Stories of Abuse and Healing

Twelve people expressed interest in the Abuse Awareness Walk, but only seven of us actually walked. No media, no marching, no signs just a leisurely stroll up NW 23rd Avenues and down NW 21st visiting shops, restaurants and cafes. Four of us have participated in the Walk Across Oregon since 2008. Three of us were new to the Walk. Two of the new people were survivors. One was a supporter.

We started out at New Renaissance Bookstore. I forgot to take pictures. The parking is good at the south end of NW 23rd where the bookstore is located. Further up the avenue you sometimes have to park five or six blocks away from your destination. New Renaissance Bookstore is a New Age bookstore with books and gifts from a variety of religions, including Christianity. What amazed me at the place is that they rent spiritually oriented videos. Not only did they have videos on Buddhism, Hinduism, and Australian aboriginal spirituality, they had the largest collection of videos on Catholic saints outside of a Catholic store or catalog that I have ever seen. They had videos on Francis of Assisi and Clare of Assisi, Anthony of Padua, Padre Pio, Vincent de Paul, Theresa of Avila and John of the Cross.
